The last project of 2021, one of the most iconic cards of the game, Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon! I was very excited about this one, as I knew I had to make it absolutely epic.

The frame was a bit challenging, I had some issues with properly aligning the rarity upgrade borders, and I also had a slight misalignment when placing the top layer over the text layer, but hopefully these are not that visible!

Cutting out the artwork was definitely like cutting a puzzle 😅  It was a challenge to cut out and prepare the pieces for assembly, especially with the heads, which had some weird perspective going on.

For assembly, I started by putting together some of the larger parts before placing them on the background.

I had several misgivings about this card while working on it, especially due to several issues during the process, but it ended up looking spectacular, and it’s probably one of my best cards!
