My fourth Dark Magician project, all blinged out this time 😁
The project was nice as I am already familiar with this artwork and was able to work quick and efficient.
I decided to give it a rarity upgrade with the gold foil from the MAGO set, which was a terrible decision. The foil came out looking really bad, and I was extremely unhappy with it.
I decided to rip out the rarity upgrade and use a PGLD foil instead. Tearing down the front was kinda scary, but managed to pull it off and clean up the glue points.
I then applied the new foil and finally the resin globes.
The following step was to cut out the artwork pieces. Tried one of the new NT cutters (the D-500GP), but it felt a bit too thick and hard to handle.
After processing the pieces, I decided to start using some thick watercolor paint paper to display the exploded view of my works, which looks amazing.
Finally, I started assembly, which was straightforward, as it was the fourth time I did it, haha.
I think the final product is a very good combo of rarity and artwork holo foil. Let me know what you think!
