The project I made last week was this gorgeous artwork of Ra, which I was looking forward to finally create into a shadowbox.

As usual, I started with the frame, cutting out all the elements needed and this time I wanted to do a special rarity upgrade, where I pasted both the border and the top layer on the same level, on a scrap card. This is different than what I did so far where the border is either raised or lowered and the effect is very interesting.

I especially like how the level stars came out on this one, I'm starting to get better at making these.

I then cut out all the elements, which was a breeze with the new blade. I already love it, it allowed me to touch some really fine elements.

For the flames, I tested a new technique called "etching" where one crests the holographic layer with a precision knife in a decorative pattern.

I thought it looked a bit empty, so I also added some resin streaks, to make it pop some more.

And here are the fully processed pieces. As usual, you can see how much processing improves the 3D aspect.

Finally, assembly started!
