This was a very interesting project, and finally a more freestyle artwork, which let me play around some more, compared to the TCG cards I normally do, where I have to handle the frame as well.

I found a render of this photo and printed it without the background, which I decided to paste onto a custom 3D background, made out of a combo of mediums. I used a gold leaf foil for the bottom background and then covered that with a cut out sun rays display.

I also decided to have some fun with the text, making it 3D as well. This is something I never did before, as TCG cards don't normally have text on the artwork.

I really like how the shadowbox looks so far! The combination of different textures and colors is very eye pleasing in my opinion.

Next up I actually started the artwork decoupage 😅. This one has a lot of pieces, but it already looks like it will be amazing.

Assembly was pretty hard, as there were multiple elements overlapping in weird ways, but I believe I managed to pulled it off.

And now, let's place Yoh on the background, to bring everything together!
